A Batman villian?

That would be amazing buuut after rumple any insanity aspect he brings to the character would just be compared constantly and relentlessly to rumple, that character is the best of the best and could imagine if he plays either of the batman villans uve mentioned it would be a curse :s

I think maybe Scarecrow would've been a good fit. Cillian Murphy was too much of a "pretty boy" for the role, considering how I recall the character originally being described.

I know it wouldn't be a big role but the "Batman Universe" has their own version of the Mad Hatter (a villain who obsesses with everything 'Alice in Wonderland'). Despite one would think, the character is different from the character of Mr. Gold & Robert Carlyle would be perfect for it & wouldn't need to be worried about being typecast, since instead of playing a evil (yet likeable) character as Rumpelstiltskin, he would be playing a sympathetic creepy psychopath obsessed with 'Alice' who hypnotizes people to carry his "bidding".
