Yes yes I know you can look it up everywhere but here's one instantly available. I can't stand reading a name I can't pronounce; the last one was Daziel ("DEE-EL") from Daziel & Pascoe. Nuff of that . . .
As to his Catholicism I don't understand why this is such an issue. There must be hundreds-of-thousands (millions?) of actors down through the years whose religious belief forms a core of their personal value set. David Suchet? just off the top of my head.
As long as he doesn't proselytize I don't think it will have any impact on his career (he is that good looking).
