I bet kids draw pictures of The Accountant

I saw Drive Angry again recently, and, as always, I loved The Accountant. William Fichtner's portrayal was hilarious, and packed with enough idiosyncracies to make it unforgettable. Those little gestures The Accountant always makes with his head, the black suit, his coin, the fake FBI badge... somehow it all adds up to an almost mythic figure. Which, of course, is basically what The Accountant is all about.

Seriously, there are enough visually distinctive things about the character, and his general awesomeness is interesting enough, that I bet kids who watch this movie start drawing pictures of him all the time. I probably would have done that myself, if I had seen this when I was... say, 10 or 11 years old.

Of course, I also would have been so psychologically scarred by a lot of other things in the movie that I would have gone completely insane, so... no, insane people can still draw, so that wouldn't change anything, really.

For Grave Encounters... I'm Lance Preston.
