I just finished watching The Last Samurai and...
... this guy really does a great, subtle job playing a villain. He's really quite reasonable for the most part, he just doesn't appreciate the finer points of Japanese samurai culture unfortunately. I like that he's an intelligent, reasonable guy even when he's working against Nathan and his friends.
