Mark Harmon as a woodworker
In one episode of NCIS, he makes mention of a model 10ER Shopsmith combination woodworking machine. I used to have that same model machine and wondered if he actually did own one. I believe I saw that machine in one of his NCIS episodes. In another episode, he was looking over a scroll saw attachment in a pawn shop that was for the 10ER Shopsmith. It appears to me that he is familar with that machine and incorporated it from his personal experience into the NCIS series.
