shareI have to include Jessica Fletcher. She was also a mystery writer in 'A Talent For Murder' (1984 TV Movie) with Laurence Olivier. Her character in that is Ann Royce McClain. Her stint as Jessica Fletcher started the same year. I'm also glad she got to play Miss Marple in 'The Mirror Crack'd' (1984).
One character she was born to play is Miss Froy in 'The Lady Vanishes' (1979). That was a remake of Hitchcock's 1938 classic.
