Too bad she has retired from acting....she is a great actress.

The Division, Comfort & Joy, Can't Hurry Love, and of course FOL.

I'm not sure if she is retiring right now or not, she is supposed to be in that new disney channel show.."Sonny With a Chance"

"The Tracey Thurman Story" hands-down. It was an utterly chilling story.

It was very hard for my family to watch at the time it came out. Aside from the fact that it is very disturbing in and of itself... Nancy McKeon looks very much like my youngest aunt. She even sounds like her somewhat. So... needless to say... it was very hard to watch the violent scenes where a woman is being beaten that looks so much like my aunt.

My family joked for years, that my aunt could've guest-starred on "Fact Of Life" as Nancy's sister. I think they could even be fraternal twins.

I liked nancy mckean because she basically made facts of life work after a while, although, really, who could go wrong with charlotte rae. 9 years of high viewership couldn't be wrong.
I believe nancy's best role was in comfort and joy, because it tested her extremes as an actress - how to act "surface" as a rich, upwardly-mobile woman, then as a true companion (and mom) to an idealistic husband. Not many people think it was a great movie, but it's fun to watch of a cold winter afternoon.

I was impressed with her role in The Division. Wow she really did a great job when her character Jinny was loaded or drunk. She really did look high and I don't think that is easy to do unless you are actually high. The Intervention episode really moved me. Her emotional scenes really got to me. I love the line "What place do you have to be at to shoot yourself in your own home where you know your family is going to find you". That made me choke up. I also thought she played her cop or inspector role like a pro and was believable. I also liked her in Can't Hurry Love with Mariska Hartigay who is currently playing a cop. They were both really funny and seemed to have a great chemistry. I would love to see Nancy McKeon in another cop show like NCIS, or NCIS Los Angeles. I grew up watching The Facts of Life and that was great but we all have to grow up. I hope to see her in more productions, but if she decides to wait till her kids are older than good for her. I remember growing up being compared to Jo's character. I was a thom-boy and had similar hair and now I feel like that those comparisons were huge compliments.

I agree, her performance in A CRY FOR HELP was amazing, but she's also turned in quite good performances in some of her other movies as well. I enjoy most of her films,especially STRANGE VOICES another good example of her acting abilities.
