What will you read about when the boards shut down? You realize many, many people are saying they will stop reviewing and adding interesting bits to movie trivia etc? I didn't realize so much stuff was posted by the public.

I pretty much have to. They have the most comprehensive and generally up to date information on people I have to work with or contact.

I absolutely hate the fact they plan to shut down the boards, and I hope our protests make them reconsider. They will lose a lot of people if they don't.

I'm afraid they won't give a damn what we want, unfortunately. It's all about shutting down negative opinions and probably because they don't make much money off these boards. It's a pity. Everything in life shouldn't be about money. And also because they want to herd people into Twitter and FB. Forget about that for me - I don't want my life posted online. It's a great way for governments and corporations to control you.
