I'm loving the leather jacket! Although I am struggling to get my head around the fact that it's been slightly warmer in Australia than here and Geoffrey rocks up in a scarf, whilst I've been sunbathing. Bless!

Where are you? I'm in Australia and it's winter now ... I'm currently freezing my @ss off right about now - getting down to 0 to -2 (that's Celsius, NOT Fahrenheit, remember!) for the last few weeks most nights. Only in the last day or so has it warmed up to anything above 15 degrees (C).

It's summer in the United States when it's winter in Australia. And it's a hot one...and looking at pics of Geoffrey doesn't cool it down any!

I'm in Wales. The weather people were telling us it was roughly 17C here whilst the likes of Sydney and Melbourne had about 20C. Seems like our Met Office can not only get out forecasts wrong but those of other countries too

Well it's currently 31C up in Darwin!!! And Queensland has been getting around 23C maximums. hehe... but that's to be expected, they never really get a winter up in the Northern Territory! I'm a bit north of Melbourne though and we get it colder overnight than they do in Melbourne - usually about 8 degrees difference in overnight lows and it's only a few hours away!

And it actually is going to get to about 19C here tomorrow (apparently!), which is quite good for this time of year even by Australian standards! But where I am we get extremes - so we'll get a 'nice' winter day like that but each night it'll drop to between 0 to -3. (so that would explain the scarf-wearing at evening type events! ;D) And we have been getting a bit of rain in the last week or so, so I guess that's why it's warmed up a bit.

p.s: Wales! Nice! I was pissed off that I didn't get to venture there when I was in the UK a few years ago. We saw quite a lot of England though (I've got family living over there - in Bucks and Herts :D) and I've been dying to visit again ever since. It's just like an older version of Australia really! ;D *chuckles* ... I felt right at home.
