could not stand him in Dexter (annoying didn't like the story arc)

Still gotta watch S5 and 6 of SoA, but watching S3 of Dexter (about halfway through) and I really love Smits. He's plays such an interesting character and love his chemistry with Dexter

shareMuch prefer him as Nero, it's a better story in SOA than S3 of Dexter. Although he could play any part in any show and do it well.

shareIn Dexter, his character started out good, but the more he ingratiated himself into Dexter's life, the more annoying & one dimensional his character became. ( not unlike Lila the previous season ) Still an outstanding performance from Jimmy as that kind of toxic "Freind".
His role in SOA, however, was much better developed & nuanced, ultimately more sympathetic compared to Miguel.
