Top 3 Films? (Besides the Ocean's movies)

Sex, Lies, and Videotape
The Limey
Out of Sight

I enjoyed these movies the most, even though I recognize that Erin Brokovich and Traffic are "superior" films which I also enjoyed watching... I also liked Logan Lucky, Contagion... haven't seen The Limey... I have tried watching some of his more experimental films but couldn't even finish them.

1. Out Of Sight (one of my favorite movies of all time/the cat-mouse game between the cop and the thieve who fall in love but she can't because he's 'the bad guy' and she has to do her job, besides the story just the on-screen chemistry between Lopez and Clooney is off the charts).

2. Solaris (Moves slowly and I can't remember the ending, but I liked the story, Clooney arriving at the space station and discovering that something went wrong, trying to figure it out... to me it has a Twilight Zone-like atmosphere).

3. Haywire (I loved the idea of a female secret agent, but the movie kinda never reaches it's full potential... Carano displays some of the best female fighting that I've ever seen on film, no Charlie's Angels fakeness... the hotel scene vs Fassbender is awesome).

I'd like to give full credit for not just listing three titles and providing no reasoning or commentary for those picks. This is actually an interesting and useful post.

I agree that Haywire never quite reaches its potential, but it's still an interesting film. Carano is not a great actress but she has charisma and she is extremely capable physically. If she's in a movie, I'll usually watch it even if it looks like it's probably going to be shitty.
