What? A shock jock did something controversial 27 years ago?

Nobody should care.

Was it blatantly racist, offensive & perhaps above all not funny? Most definitely but I'm confused why nobody cared until now though. I never even heard of this "skit" before. I mean his target audience certainly don't care so i doubt this will affect him much in any long term capacity.

This has been on Youtube for years. It is shocking, but Robin and Sherman Hemsley were in on the joke. If they had a problem with it, I am sure they would have objected. It's satire, not racism.

He deserves the aggravation considering he's been blatantly sucking up to liberals lately, hoping to ride an anti-Trump wave into politics. Stern is ridiculously transparent in doing this and has become rather pathetic.

His comments for Trump supporters who listened to his show a few weeks ago might have been from his heart, but it got him a lot of enemies with $$$ and power to muckrake his past.

You see the result.

How will that help?

He should "apologise" by doing race-based humour skits for a month.

If Stern caves on something like this, he's sandblasted everything he once was into pabulum. This guy used to be about chaos and id. He used to do whatever he wanted, and that was punk rock turned into a talk show. Now he's an interview guy. He conducts a fine interview, don't get me wrong, but if he wants to maintain some semblance of authenticity, he cannot disown his past mayhem.

What would Fartman do, Howard? What would Fartman do...?
