Turturro is born again

I can't wait to see him in many movies after The Night Of.

But just, please John, stay friends with Adam Sandler in life, but not on screen...
Don't throw away what you just did for some bad (outrageously annoyingly bad) Sandler's "comedies".
(By the way Sandler is also a great great actor who chose to only do very bad movies. I hope he'll decide to change that someday)

I've always known Turturro was a good actor but he was mostly given supporting roles instead of lead.
In the Night Of, he is all-awards-deserving. He brought me tears during his closing argument, and more during his silences than talks.

He is an Actor with a big A, I find him for example much better than De Niro in his recent films. De Niro rests his acting on past career. Doesn't deliver anything anymore.

Turturro was born again in that serie.
Very glad he got the part rather than De Niro who wouldn't have put so much humility and humor in the role (probably any at all), or Gandolfini (rip) even though I'm sure he would have done great.

I'm very glad Turturro has been able to show his deep, experienced talent and hope he'll be given the opportunity to do so in future films.
