a while back I read somewhere that there was gonna be a Homey D. Clown movie what happend? did the idea get dropped, still casting or still waiting to be green lighted?

As a fan of the Wayans I would laugh at this movie but if I had the choice I would rather see a remake of Major Payne. If you look at many posts around the web you'll see that many people feel the same way. It was a very funny movie with plenty of room for a sequel. There's always gonna be people who fret at torturing kids on film but this movie dies a helluva lot less to kids than some of the newer flicks.

FWIW it's still listed on HSX. Of course, Good Omens has been listed for about 8 years =P

damn, i'm glad he isn't making it. not many people are gonna "get" this movie. Homey's character is over 10 years old. something like that won't go over. maybe when In Living Color was big. but, i bet half the people you talk to don't remember Homie.
