Yes so did I, but he's not really a "celebrity" any more. And the joke mentions Steven Gutenberg, who's definitely not a celebrity anymore.

I think the joke is that we expected the punchline to be something about their wonky eyes, but he tricked us and just made an ordinary comment. Subtle, but I like it.
