Smokin' hot yes, but smart and funny too! What a man!

Watch this video of Stephen giving the commencement speech @ Swarthmore College. He is such an engaging speaker!

Yes,he is. I love his interviews-he comes out with some of the best comments. You never know what he's going to say and he can be hilarious. What I find so cool about him is that he has so many varied interests. He really makes such an impression on a wide range of people. If you read any of the comments from Civil War re enactors that have been posted over the years-they all think the world of him and recently, people who were at the various Comic Cons were saying that he was definitely one of the highlights. So you see,it's not just us! :-)

I fell in love with Stephen back in 2005 when I first saw Gods and Generals. I've followed him ever since. He's old enough to be my father, but the man is HOT! His speech at Swarthmore is what finally motivated me to get my act together and do what I've always wanted to. And now I am back in school working towards my English degree with hopes of being an English teacher. Thanks Stephen!

That is awesome! He would love that,I'm sure!

I'm glad somebody else appreciates that movie. I thought he was wonderful as Jackson. I love the Shaara books and I wish they had done the third film,of "The Last Full Measure".

I am a little late to the fair. I only noticed him on Terra Nova a couple of weeks ago. But I can say that back in 1992 I did see him on B'way in Hamlet. I always remembered his name from that show from all those years ago. I remember he had a lovely mane of hair for that role. I not only admire his sexiness, but his intelligence and talent. And I am also of Hungarian Jewish decent just as he is!

I look forward to seeing some more of his past work. Today I saw "An Occasional Hell", which was not the greatest movie but did show his sexy side! If some of you ladies haven't seen it - don't miss it!

That's ok, eklug-1. It's never too late to join the party! I love his hair when it's curly and longer.....yum!

I have to agree, "An Occasional Hell" isn't the best, but there's some really nice shots in that one.
If you can get a hold of a movie called "A Season of Hope" aka "The Lemon Grove" you would enjoy that one. There's a scene when he's in the grove, digging a hole...on a hot day.....yeah....hold on, let me wipe off the drool. Anyway, I think you'd like it.

Others that are really good are "Save Me" and "Journey of the Heart" if you're looking to see another side of his amazing talent. Also check out "Gettysburg".

Thanks, Little Minx. I'm trying to see if I can get out to Gettysburg on Nov. 19th. Don't know if I'll get close enough, but I would love to tell him...and thank him in person.

Gods and Generals is one of my favorites and I so so wish they would make "The Last Full Measure". At least we have "To Appomattox" to look forward to, not to mention our new weekly dose of Stephen on Terra Nova!

Northernrebel62: I, too, have been mulling over going to Gettysburg. I wonder how it will all be set up, and if we have any chance of speaking with the man?

Ladies-go to http://www.gettysburg.edu/cwi/events/. Scroll down to November 19 and click on the "full schedule". It will bring up a pdf with the whole run down. I'm a member of The Friends of Gettysburg, which is part of the Gettysburg Foundation and I believe that they have more info on their site, including more about the Remembrance Illumination that evening. I'm definitely going,as I love the place anyway and so does my family! Very convenient. ;-)
