Amazing actress

I can't believe all the hate on this board - I'm beginning to think that a hater has created several different aliases since the phrasing and the reasons for disliking her is the same in almost every message. One thread was like reading the same message over and over again. Very weird.

She is the best actress in Mad Men and there are several great actresses on that show. There are so many poor actresses out there, I can't believe January Jones gets all this hate - especially since her Betty Draper is extremely believable. I loved her as Emma Frost as well.

I hope she has a great career ahead of her.

You're very funny. :-) Check my previous posts, I've been here for quite some time. I'm real and I'm spectacular. ;-) And quite honestly: January keeps getting jobs so my guess is that neither January nor her agent feel the need to post messages on the internet water glass that is IMDb. Only film nerds (and, yes, I'm one of them) care about what is written here. :-)

I agree, she is flawless as Betty Draper in Mad Men and I loved her in X-Men: First Class too!

I don't get the hate either. I remember at one point everyone seemed to like her fine, but then all of a sudden people started treating her like a Kardashian. She's a good actress, she's not versatile, but good, and I saw an interview with her once, and she seemed really cute and likable. It might be because she was bloody terrible on snl, but cut her some slack, not everybody can do a live comedy show like that.

i think you are blinded by her beauty. She is possibly one of the most beautiful women i have ever seen, but no, she is not an amazing actress, even calling her an actress is a stretch.

I used to think she was alright when i had only seen her on mad men, but her "preformance" in xmen was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. I dont know what her character was like in the comics or anything, but i doubt she was that wooden.
