Lucy needs another lead role

I love Lucy Lawless. Always have since I locked eyes on her attractive beauty in Xena. And I think since then, she hasn't really found her way in the TV or movie landscape for such a gorgeous and talented lady like her.

Knowing that she will likely not play any major part in next year's Xena reboot, I would relish at seeing her get involved in spawning a new badass detective series where we can see her get a bit rough again. What do you guys think? Add in other suggestions if you have any.

I would love to see her in a lead role again with her own series. Get to it Rob Tapert! Detective or not, as long as it's a great character with a good story.

I wonder if this Ruby Knowby role could follow the same route her Xena role did. Femme Fatale steals the show and eclipses the leading male? Hmm....

Well, she's said in interviews that she's signed on for the full run of AVED. Whatever that may be, 3 seasons or 5, whatever it is. But I would like to see her star again in a series as the lead.
