I see it is listed as a movie. I thought it was suppose to be a tv series, but never got picked up. It has 160 user ratings here. Does that mean it was available somewhere?

No, I don't think it ever aired. IMDB is weird. I notice people rate stuff that hasn't been released yet or at all. For example the docu about Andy Whitfield, 'Be Here Now' already has 36 ratings.
