No, of course not. That would be stupid.

There are other actors who were on Xena, and on Hercules, in Spartacus as well. The one scene that sticks out for me is when Crixus puts a blade in Lucretia's gut. Made me think of Antony & Cleopatra (2000).

Both Xena and Spartacus were shot in New Zealand. Both shows are produced by the Tapert/Raimi team. They use a lot of the same actors, crew. There are no Xena references in Sparty. Basically they are using from the talent pool there.

It's the same for other countries when you watch tv shows such as in the UK, Canada, Australia. They use the talent pool physically located there. I watch Strike Back, Downton Abbey, and use to watch Game of Thrones, and saw 2 or 3 of the of same actors on each show. You don't notice with U.S. based shows because the industry is massive there.
