He is semi retired from acting lives in Texas
For those people wondering Jason Lee is semi retired from movies. He moved to Denton Texas about a year ago and has been here ever since. He is raising his family there and he's opened up a restaurant With another guy. He still acts does movies but he doesn't do that many movies anymore. If they make another chipmunk movie he'll probably star in it, some TV movies, and he may appear in another Kevin Smith movie here or too soon.
