Tony awards presenter plus Enchanted II

I just read in a couple of places that James Marsden will be a presenter on the Tony awards, which will be broadcast on June 10 on CBS.
Also, that it may be that Enchanted II is finally gearing up. Good. If they don't hurry, Marsden will have to buy stock in Clairol and Estee Lauder; his hair's growing quite noticeably gray in places, and his face is now showing his soon-to-be 39 years.
:-)
Love you to death, James; I only tease the ones I love...

I found the article on the right-hand side of James' IMDb page, where it lists news articles pertaining to its main IMDb subject - found it again this morning, in fact.
The link discussed 10 fairy-tale films being scheduled or planned or thought about.

The news item came from a website called NextMovie, and was written by a Hillary Atkin. It has a photo of Amy Adams on the side of the article. "10 Other Fairy Tale Films coming to the Big Screen" is the actual title.

Here's the quote, which I copied (about the 8th or 9th paragraph down); the paragraph heading reads
"Enchanted 2"

Of course, Ms Atkin doesn't explain that poor Giselle was pushed into a well which had that "evil" NYC as its other end... She just says that Giselle was looking for love. I don;t like it when writers are not precise in their reporting; they're supposed to be professionals.

"Amy Adams will reportedly reprise her role as Giselle in this Disney sequel to the blockbuster 2007 film, which brought the fairy tale princess to real-life New York City in her quest for love. James Marsden, Julie Andrews and Patrick Dempsey are also rumored to be part of the cast again for this 2014 release."

By this time, James and I will both be walking with walkers. :-)

Ugh... I hoped there was an official statement from Disney :-(
as you pointed out the reporter did not get all the info straight (and I hate this too about reporters!) so I'm not having high hopes...

We get hopes up, and then experience disappointment.
Do these so-called "news articles" come from official statements by reliable persons, or just unsubstantiated rumors floated by someone who starts them for the fun or excitement they generate, and love to see them in print?
Reminds me of James' film, "Gossip," doesn't it?

reply

Exactly :-)
But seriously.. This is getting annoying! I want him in something good and available soon for everybody :-/
I'd love him to pursue the role of Frankie Valli on Jersey Boys adaptation. It seems the musical will be director by Jon favreau.. Uff
