Was he not supposed to be in a movie and play Charles Manson?
shareI don't know where that went. And they had other actors semi-slated: one in particular I remember was Melissa Leo. When this was first being discussed, people wrote in to IMDb and stated emphatically that that role would have sunk his career.
I don't know if that supposition was the reason for the stalling of the film.
But many films get stalled, so no news there. Look at "Red Machine/Endangered". That film is already finished -- and where is it?
And "The Loft." That film, which I can't wait to see, has been postponed a few times. I'm hoping that in this August it will finally be distributed.
"Nailed" - should we just give up completely on that one?
Filmmaking seems to be the worst business ever. At least in live theater, when an actor is on that stage, he's really there. The play is not in some vault somewhere, rotting away, while the actors try something else.
And while I'm ranting away, what happened to:

Hairspray 2
