What happened to her role in When Calls The Heart?
Jean Smart was supposed to be part of the cast of the series on Hallmark, but she only appeared in the final scene of the TV movie (which served as a series pilot). The first four episodes of the series have already aired, all with Jean Smart nowhere to be found. No one even mentions her character.
Does anyone know what happened? Did she quit, was she fired, is her character just temporarily absent… what's the deal?
