Alfre Woodard is just such a wonderful actress! she's so beautiful, brilliant...and for some reason she reminds me of my mother...

Have to agree with you. She's incredible. It's a loss that she hasn't been given more lead roles.

Better yet sgammans, give this woman a role which would earn her an Oscar. Best Actress in a leading role at that!!

Yeah, she's great. Wonderful energy and presence on screen. I know most people don't like the movie, but I thought she deserved a freakin' OSCAR nomination for The Forgotten.

She stole "Cross Creek" from Mary Steenburgen.
That's where I first saw her.
