On THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW

I love Ms. Woodard, so tuned into THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW to see her guest segment.
The host asked about black women getting roles in Hollywood, and Alfre Woodard made a very intelligent (of course) analogy of how we live in a multi cultural world, yet Hollywood portrays life in a basically all white realm.
This seemed to go completely over Wendy Williams's head and hse just sat there for a full five seconds with a blank look on her face and then asked about the upcoming remake of STEEL MAGNOLIAS.
Did anyone else notice this? I was disappointed Alfre Woodard wasn't given the opportunity to go on with the topic.
