First of all..LOVE Alfre Woodard. Amazing actress..
Has anyone noticed that she has played Sanaa Lathan's mother 3 times!! In Love and Basketball, Something New and The Family That Preys. Is this thought out? I wonder if when they cast either one in a role that is a mother or daughter they ask "Well who do you want to be your mother?" or "Who do you think would be a perfect daughter to play this role?" Just interesting...

I'm watching something new now and was just thinking the same thing. Decided to come out here and see if they had been in any other movies together.

My wife and I were watching "The Family That Prays" and heard it mentioned during one of the behind the scene segments. They come across as mother and daughter very well.
