Starship Troopers 3?!

I saw Troopers 1 and let's just say it was nearly 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back! Nothing like Heinlein's classic book, more like a rejected pilot for a proposed series on the old UPN. Never knew there was a sequel- my guess it was direct to video. Troopers 3 looks like direct to DVD as well. One of Jolene's post-Enterprise interviews said she would avoid sci-fi flicks so as not to be typecast...must be a hell of a script to lure her back. I doubt it, she probably needs the work.

i'm agree, however ST3 budget is $ 20 million I doubt it is direct to DVD, what do you think about? Her husband is filthy rich but i think she would be financially indipendent.

Filthy rich probably means hubby has a prenuptial agreement. Don't want to speculate on Jolene's personal financial situation; I should have wrote WANTS to work instead of NEEDS to work. Acting is her career and she needs to keep her face out there even if its Troopers 3.

i totally agree.

I agree it is going to the theater. Unlike part 2 this is a follow up to the first film involving Casper Van Dien's character Rico.

Well, when one is not getting much work one shouldn't complain nor be picky. Taking a crappy role in ST3 is better than starving or stripping for money.

It was a bad movie with bad computer effects. The original Starship Troopers is still the best and a very good movie.

I wouldn't have watched it to the end if there wasn't Jolene in it.

Lexa is cute!

Blalock looked like she'd had serious work done for this. Her botox was off the scale.
