Developing her thespian talents

I thought I read from from somewhere that she got into acting by accident but in Star Trek, there was substance and wit behind the dead-pan character she played. In Starship Trooopers/3 she was very dynamic and seemed to be enjoying the part. I wonder if she would try something like Lady MacBeth; there is an idea for a production in which the part is played hy a younger woman. One wonders what opportunities there are for this kind of thing in the USA. Gregory Peck tried with Ava Gardner but was prevented by her studio, I think.

I wonder as a talented actress played a "dead" character as vulcan: in early times I thought she wasa bad actress but her strong dramatic performance in episode Impulse changed my mind and I dont know why she kept such wasteful role where she couldnt show her acting hability.
