I've never watched the show before this year, re-runs on Sci Fi, lately interested in Scott Bakula's work, and I really enjoy Blalock as T'Pol. I was just thinking yesterday that I haven't seen her in anything else, but now I think I probably just didn't recognize her! She's very cool.
shareJolene is not only cool but extremely charismatic- I just wish Hollywood would give her a shot at some A-List projects...she has that "Angelina Jolie" vibe.
Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying the "Enterprise" reruns; I wasn't a fan of the first 2 seasons- too derivative of "Voyager" and felt the producers wasted the concept; came back for Season 3- which was an improvment and was a fan of the (mostly) excellent Season 4- with the exception of the series finale, the horrible "These Are the Voyages." In my opinion Jolene and Connor Trinneer were the best thing about the series and had a lot of chemistry. With the success of the new Star Trek film and bringing new fans like yourself to the "Enterprise" re-runs on Sci-Fi, I'm hoping "Enterprise" comes back as a Sci-Fi Movie of the week.
Thanks for the VERY interesting response! I've heard mostly negative comments about this version of Star Trek, but as I've said, lately I just want to see Scott Bakula do anything. The other members of the cast are superb, I love all of them! I don't think ALL of the episodes are GREAT but lots of them are, like Carbon Creek, I liked that one very much. For me, too, it's good to have a new interest, something to enjoy on TV. Happy Summer!

shareI agree, Jolene was great in Enterprise. At first I've noticed her beauty, like everyone else I guess, :) but soon I figured out how tough her job is to portray a Vulcan with so many problems that only grew later on. She really did a wonderful job. I'm glad at least the guys who give out the Saturn Awards noticed this too. I hope she'll get better roles in the future, her recent movies weren't that good. Though I enjoyed Shadow Puppets, a lot. :D
