You'd have to be a seriously autistic person unable to read emotions, if you couldn't tell whether T'Pol was angry, afraid or hurt. But of course she couldn't go John Cleese all the time: she was playing a Vulcan! And if she plays a Vulcan who has lost her control over emotions, it's all different, for example in the episodes 3x05 Impulse and 2x25 Bounty.

To me T'Pol was a touching character, loaded with emotions and fire.

Roska-posti, I agree with you: in the beginning I thought Jolene was last Hollywood starlet watching the non-emotional character she played, but in Impulse she shows her great dramatic acting and I changed my opinion.
However Jolene 's known as T'pol a blank character and I can understand if someone blames her.

ROSKA, something we can agree on!! Jolene has done the best Vulcan character in the series. No other Vulcan character had so much depth, dare I say not even Spock. There were other actresses who tried to pull off an inner struggle in their characters like Seven, Ezri Dax or B'Elanna, but none did it as well as Jolene. Sure there was the occasional Pon'far, but that never showed someone on the edge, someone about to crack.

In the episodes following her exposure, there was almost a bubbling under the surface. She pulled it off very well and I would really like it if they could revive the damn show. They had so much more they could have done. things were just getting good and they ended it in a way so they could pick it back up.

Blalock is at least an average actress, the OP is just ticked about something else.
