He is good but he is no Chan-wook Park

Bong is a very good director with some good films under his belt (The Host in particular is a standout) but he is just on the level of a master like Park.

Personally, I prefer Bong. I do like Oldboy and The Handmaiden a lot but didn’t like JSA and hated I’m a Cyborg. Park is certainly a major filmmaker, though.
