If you listen to the song, the Mongoloid is a heroic everyman. It's a positive portrayal which can't be bothered with political correctness.
Medicine stopped using the term "Mongoloid" because it was an unfortunate reference to Mongolians, an ethnicity. However, for years, that's what folks with Down Syndrome were called and we shouldn't erase these peoples' existence.
We call them corkys now.
