Did JFD want out of the show?? Is that why they killed Sweets off? Or did the powers that be just decide to off him either way?

He didn't want to leave the show altogether. He asked if he could take a break to direct his new movie, but they couldn't come up with a way to write his absence into the show (since he needed at least four months off and it coincided with the filming of a lot of season ten), so they decided it was best to kill his character off.

They could of givin him the time off he needed, they could of had his baby born with rare birth defect, and had to go away to clinic that could treat and save the baby
