You have a point. But I think she does what she does well.

It is not that she is cornered, it is just that Hollywood doesn't provide equal opportunities for actresses of color that isn't a variation of social stereotype. Yet, Davis has even challenged those notions by giving dimensional performances, participating in the creative process moreso than any other actress is regarding good real representation, and calls attention to herself in her performances that is award-worthy.

She is getting that Best Actress Oscar soon- I know it, and not just because the Academy made a mistake playing safe with rewarding Meryl an Oscar she didn't deserve.

Actors of color need to be better represented in film, and be recognized for their contributions.
