Wow! I just realized he was in Dutch!

I was very already familiar with the movie, and also All I Want for Christmas with Thora Birch. I knew that the lead boy in both were the same kid. I saw Empire Records when it first came out, and I did not realize he was the kid! He really looks different IMO. He got taller and thinned out, and his hairstyle was different. So u became familiar with Ethan Embry after Empire Records and That Thing You Do. So just now, I caught All I Want For Christmas and in my TV info it said Ethan Embry was in it. I didnt think that was correct. It had been like 20 years since I had seen it, so I decided to watch it again. In the opening credits it said Ethan Randall and nothing about Embry, so I thought my tv info was wrong. I watch it for awhile and like, "yeah! That is the kid from Dutch. I thought so." But then as I watched longer, I started to think this could be Ethan Embry. He does kind of look like him. Maybe he went by another name. Just came here and found out he did! I just can't believe all these years I never realized that that kid was Ethan Embry!

Just saw him for the first time in years on Grace and Frankie. Couldn't place him and was also shocked he was the kid from Dutch. I had remembered him from Can't Hardly Wait and Empire Records from when he was a little older.

He seems to have a face that looks very different, depending on what his hair looks like. Funny that I had seen him on the walking dead this past fall, and once again did not recognise him. It wasn't until they brought him on the talking dead and introduced him as Ethan embry, that I realised it was him.

I recognized him in Empire Records when it first came out but was so shocked how different he was from the kid I remembered in those films you mentioned.
