Shouldn't we just save a lot of time and arguments and just destroy all books, movies and songs from before 2015

Fahrenheit 451 here we come.

Yes....seems simpler....although 2019 might be a more realistic starting point

Totally. You think we're just going to cancel these few Dr. Seuss books? That's just what's getting cancelled today. In a few years they'll pick a few more to cancel. Nobody will hardly notice by then. A few years later they'll cancel a few more. And 50 years from now, we're gonna look around and go hey, where are all the Dr. Seuss books? And they'll all be gone. I say rip off that bandaid and delete the man out of history.

Oh my goodness, that Slippery Slope gets awfully difficult to slip down when it is pitched at a zero degree angle. 😁

When you say "We're just going to cancel", are you stating that you are part of the Seuss estate?
Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the entertainment company that manages the late writer’s estate, has decided to stop publishing six of Geisel’s books that feature racist and insensitive imagery. They include: “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!,” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”

Dr. Seuss Enterprises explained in a statement released on Tuesday that its mission is to support all children and families with “messages of hope, inspiration, inclusion, and friendship.” And after working with a panel of experts, which included educators, it decided to cease licensing and publishing those particular titles.
I'm just asking because I really don't believe that you're even a spokesperson for Dr. Seuss Enterprises. You're probably not even a consumer of their products either. 🤣

Stockholder?
Fan?

Who is this they that will cancel a few more? Dr. Seuss Enterprises? Why would they put themselves out of business?

The only person clamoring for ripping off that bandaid and deleting the man out of history is, uh, "TandyMan".

Is someone making you call for that kind of action or did you just think of that all by yourself? 🤣😎
