I was just thinking that.... I'm a huge fan going back to the Popular days and that was of course cancelled also.

Medical Investigation deserved to be cancelled but Jake 2.0 and Odyssey 5 were great shows!

And then he gets a starring role in Ugly Betty, the most successfull one he's been on and then he gets written out... :/

got the exact same thought. with that luck, shouldn't have left ugly betty.

So did he leave the show or was he written out?

Focker, out.

Ultimately, I think he left because of the move and with Anel (his wife), being pregnant and all. Or maybe he didn't want to uproot his family. I've heard through the grapevine that Henry and possibly even Gio could pop back into Betty's life again at some point or another, but we haven't seen Chris' character back since his 30 second debauchery in the third season premiere.

OH! I'm Dragon! No no. Eagle. No Dragon! BLACK DRAGON!

Several TV programs ago I noticed that anything he is on seems to have a short life.

Of course many shows do have short runs so it might say more about his ability to get on shows than his ability to jinx them.

Oh, and I saw him on Harpers Island and figured he looked like the guy on the other shows but it can't be him, oh wait it is he's just thinner!

Hey, his shows may keep getting cancelled but he always manages to find work. Cuz he's awesome.

Its a shame he left Ugly Betty I agree, it was the most successful show he was in. Ugly Betty is getting cancelled now and I can't help but wonder if Chris had stayed in it would it have lasted longer....

Also I agree, Popular = BEST SHOW EVER!

I'm so glad Ryan Murphy made Glee coz it reminds me so much of Popular.
