Blindness

I think his character's blindness is so distracting. I really don't find his blindness believable. Any one else agree?

I agree. The blindness is totally unnecessary.just don't know why they made him blind.

It drives me nuts. I can't take it. I hope they find some miraculous cure for blindness or something in the show.

I agree it is totally fake and often distracting

I don't agree; I think he does really well with it and I don't find it at all distracting. I like the way he performs that role.

Yeah I agree. I don't think he does a bad job in that role, he is pretty convincing to be honest. But the problem is his role is totally unrealistic and unbelievable. His character was the reason I quit this show.

I'm only 5 episodes in but so far am not seeing any reason why they made him blind? Doesn't add anything to the show.

It adds a different catch to a character that could've, otherwise, been long played out. He would've been in the field with Perabo's character which would make any other agents unnecessary (say Jai, for example, and now Calder), and it also would've made the whole point of the show null - young female operative learning how to be a spy. He's a supporting character, which means all important storylines have to have Perabo in the center.

It's an interesting trait, it's new and the way it's written it made me hooked to the show.
