Would he have been suitable to play young Albus Dumbledore?

Seeing that his portrayal as Professor James Moriarty in "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" shows him with auburn hair and beard, which quite matches the description of young Albus Dumbledore, do you think he would have been suitable to play the role in "Chamber of Secrets" and "Half-Blood Prince"?

Especially since he is the son of the guy who played Dumbledore in the first two films...
