Best thing in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

I thought she was just wonderful and heartbreaking as Winnie Mandela, definitely deserved a support actress nom at the Oscars, but alas. I reviewed the film for a Methodist paper here in the UK... any thoughts? :) http://pdmfilmreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/mandela-long-walk-to-free dom-12a.html

I agree. Her performance is so powerful. I saw the movie @ TiFF. She def deserved an Oscar nom. Ohh well...

Can't have more than one Black actor/film per category as evident with The Butler snub.

I know. I don't love The Butler, but I though it was an Oscar ready movie. What happened the Fruitvale Station?
