Has anyone seen her performance in "Marie-Antoinette," what's it like? She plays one of Louis XVI's bitter aunts, doesn't she?
shareI think she's playing one of the Mesdames Tantes (aunts of Louis) and I think I heard her voice in the trailer "She looks like a child." But I don't know for sure.

Yes, I think that's her voice in the trailer as well, but I'm sure it's not a large role in the film because Shirley wrote me a letter saying that hers wasn't a big part (unless she was just being modest!). I haven't seen the film yet though. I'm eagerly awaiting the UK cinema release and hope it's nationwide. So may of Shirley's films are difficult to catch at the cinema.

I've seen it and she was HILARIOUS. It wasn't a very big role but she pops up in some scenes and when she does, it made the whole theater laugh because she has some of the funniest lines in the movie.

She is fantastic in it and gives a great performance. The scenes where she is in them are some of the best in the movie (especially the dinner scene), all of this despite the fact that she is only in a few scenes in the beggining and that was about it.
It is a very good movie and I advise every Shirley Henderson fan to see it, if only to see her in a white wig.
