Most of the casting in HP was spot on. Especially Dumbledore (Richard Harris) and Snape.

I agree, but I'm shocked to see she's almost 40...

Yeah I was shocked also to find out her age. I think she did a great job as Moaning Myrtle. She was so perfect for that part.

They kind of needed an adult for moaning myrtle, because if the actors a kid then she'll grow overtime when they need her. That is prohibited for a ghost.

Yea I was very impressed with her performance. I like her as Myrtle a lot! And it's even more impressing cause she's over 3 times the age she's playing! Props to Shirley.

Now. . . bring me that horizon

She's actually still 39, but close enough. She can play one because even in real life she looks alfully young for her age. She has a childlike voice too. She even said in an interview she doesn't think age matters. It all depends on how you act and look.

I think she is such a good actress. And she must have beaten loads to the part on MM. She's just as I imagined her in the books. I had no idea she was in her 30s when I first saw the films. Can's wait to see her in Marie Antoinette (sp?).
