Honestly, I'm glad guys like Michael K Williams, Wendell Pierce and Clarke Peters didn't blow up and get a lot of high profile movie work. They gave me 3 of my favorite characters in tv history with the Wire. But they did TV again very soon after and gave me 3 more of my favorite characters with Boardwalk Empire's Chalky White, and Treme's Antoine Batiste, and Albert Lambreaux. Some people see TV as a step below movies. But these guys get to fully flesh out their characters beyond what most movies are capable of.
