Compeating for roles.


Here's an interesting bit of trivia, M.B Jordan made his acting debut on The Sopranos as one of Anthony Soprano's truant friends.

He was spectacular in Fruitvale Station, he should have received recognition from the Academy for that role. Coupled that with his portrayal of the naive Wallace in The Wire and he has a very bright future.

But I have noticed from his portrayal of Oscar Grant that his method of acting is almost the same as that of Tom Hardy. He's tough, streetwise yet vulnerable, which makes me wonder if they'll be competing for the same roles. M.B.J has time on his side since he's almost a full decade younger than the talented Englishman.

Too bad he was too young when he appeared on The Sopranos, if would have like to have seen what he would have made of this scene:
