TRAVESTY!!!!!

It really does outstand me how melanie was not nominated for any major awards as the best supporting actress. I have seen precious, nine, up in the air and crazy heart, and whilst i agree the actresses who were nominated in these roles were fantastic, i really really do believe that melanie was on par, if not better, that monique, who won. I have read that melanie was camapigned for best actress as opposed to best supporting actress, but the academy usually change the campaign accordin to what they believe the role belongs too (i.e melanie in best supporting actress) it was a high profile film and christoph waltz won best supporting actor, I really feel melanie was just as formidable as christoph. :( i feel sad she was not recognised more for her role, but she is a fantastic actress and I do hope she will be recognised in the future :)
