Really really really underrated!

OMG I love Monk and when I finally sat down and watched Silence of the Lambs my mom was all like "I love his character on Monk" and I was like "There is no way in hell that man is Stottlemeyer on Monk!"
Amazing. Just...amazing.

Yeah he is. I'd like to see him in more leading roles.

He was great in Bullet with Mickey Rourke and Adrian Brody.

Agreed. Underrated and doesn't even have a profile pic on here.

I first saw him on the TV series 'Crime Story' in the 1980's. He's really funny and really scary in this show.

He is one of those amazing supporting actors who is always solid in everything he does. His performance in Silence of the Lambs was overshadowed by Jodi Foster and most especially, Anthony Hopkins. Rightfully so, but he was still incredible and the Goodbye Horses scene is one that has stuck in my mind to this day. Loved him in Heat as well, another great ensemble movie.

I haven't seen Silence of the Lambs in years, but now I'll have to watch it again. I don't recall him in the movie either, and I only started watching Monk a couple of years ago when friends told me I had some crazy habits also. They were so right! Now I'm addicted to the show.
I think the whole cast fits in very nicely together.

Ted Levine is a pretty cool guy, simple as that.
