Can't believe he got shutout!

Eight seasons on Monk, not a single best supporting actor nomination! Just downright unbelievable. Outside of Tony Shalhoub the Emmy voters act like USA network doesn't exist.

Seriously, Burn Notice just (FINALLY) managed to get an Emmy nomination after almost 4 years of broadcasting; and it was given to Sharon Gless, who's had more of a lesser/constrained 'supporting' role over the past 2/4 seasons.

Ted Levine is a pure Greg Kinnear. So much talent being overshadowed/under-appreciated.

I concur. He's definitely my favorite character on Monk, and his acting is right on par with Tony Shaloub's. I think because Stottlemeyer's character is more subtle and not a twitching mess like Monk is, everybody kind of overlooks him.
