WOW!!! He loves playing cops a lot
Well he does a good job at it so I'm not complaining.
I don't think he seeks these roles out so much as, he is so convincing in them that he is frequently cast as cops and law enforcement. Same thing happened to my favorite actor, James Cagney. Prided himself on being a "song and dance man" and after Public Enemy, the studio shoved him into gangster role after gangster role after gangster role--something Cagney said he found very annoying and frustrating. Ted has had different roles in other movies but does play cops a lot. I'd like to see him answer this question, as to whether he's just offered a lot of cop roles or whether it's a personal preference.
