My favourite Eugene film roles were definitely A Mighty Wind and Armed and Dangerous. Followed closely by the other two Guest movies and also his turn in Club Paradise.
He's also great in a few brief scenes in Billy Crystal: Don't Get Me Started. Little-known fact but that was actually the first time he and Christopher Guest shared the screen. Way back in 1986 - ten years before Guffman. Eugene played a somewhat slimy agent I believe, and I have a hunch his role in For Your Consideration will have shades of that character.
I'm also quite fond of him in Partners n' Love which was a Canadian made-for-tv movie that he starred in opposite Linda Kash. It's not a great movie, but he actually plays things relatively straight and gets to be a leading man.
